Eastwood Observatory, East Sussex, Hailsham

Eastwood Observatory is a beautifully renovated country house, with 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The mansion house is available for exclusive use and is perfectly suited for large family groups of up to 24 people with a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court and over 10 acres of grounds. Surrounded by vineyards it is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, near the East Sussex village of Herstmonceux.

There are 12 fabulous double bedrooms available, with an additional room on the ground floor for anyone needing disabled access. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms or a private bathroom immediately adjacent. The rooms on the first floor have fantastic Georgian proportions, and the ones on the top floor have wonderful views of surrounding estate and grounds.

A whole host of facilities are offered at Eastwood. The swimming pool is heated from April to September, and our hot tub is operational year-round. Activities are available for both family groups and company retreats. The chef and team of housekeepers can provide a full range of catering possibilities. For corporate groups, we offer seminar facilities with a full range of audio and visual equipment for hire.
